What types of translation services are available?
The field of translation encompasses a large and diverse range of activities. There are eight various translation services, including technical translation, judicial translation, and certified translation. There are different translation processes, theories about translation, and eight different types of Korean to English translation service.
Technical translation
Translating user manuals, instructions booklets, internal notes, medical translation, financial reports, minutes of events, administrative words in general, and so on is known as “technical translation.” These documents get distinguished for a specialized and limited audience, and they usually have a short shelf life.
Scientific translation
The scientific translation is a subset of technical Korean translation services that deals with scientific materials such as articles, theses, papers, congress booklets, conference presentations, study reports, etc.
Financial translation
Of course, financial or economic translation works with documents related to financing, banking, and stock exchange activity. It comprises annual reports, financial statements, financial contracts, and finance packages, among other things.
Legal translation
The field of legal translation encompasses a wide range of documents. Legal documents such as summons and warrants, administrative texts such as registration certificates, corporate statutes, and remittance draughts, technical documents such as expert opinions and judicial texts, and a variety of other words in addition to reports and minutes of court proceedings, may all be included.
Judicial translation
Judicial translations, which are not confused with legal or certified translations, refer to translation work done in a courtroom context. Judicial translators specialize in interpreting letters rogatory, minutes of hearings, judgments, expert opinions, depositions, and interrogation session minutes, among other documents.
Certified translation
Official translations can get authenticated by the signature of a certified or sworn translator. These are typically document that require legal validation and are labeled “certified” or “sworn.” Certified translators frequently operate as juridical translators in courtrooms or as legal experts and delivering translations of civil status documents, marital agreements, divorce settlements, deceases, and wills, among other things.
